How do I apply for the CDCP?+
Check your eligibility, gather the required information, and apply online based on your eligibility phase. Our staff are happy to walk you through it — call 905-456-1400.
What documents do I need?+
Your SIN, date of birth, legal name, and address; details of any existing government dental coverage; and proof you've filed your most recent tax return.
Who's eligible?+
You must be a Canadian resident for tax purposes, have filed a recent tax return, and meet the income and insurance eligibility guidelines.
Does it cover my whole family?+
Each household member applies individually — and everyone in your home can be covered if eligible.
How long does approval take?+
Typically a few weeks. You'll be notified through your CRA My Account.
Do I need to reapply every year?+
No full reapplication is needed. Eligibility is automatically reviewed yearly as long as you continue to qualify.
